Our Breakfast Menu
"Where Breakfast Is An Event!"
We want our breakfast to be the best you can have; so we have a large menu for you to choose from. Special diets are no problem. If there is something you want
that is not on the menu, Sharon will try and make it possible. We offer gluten free choices for those who are sensitive to gluten. Just let Sharon know and we will provide meals for you without gluten. We also serve vegan and vegetarian meals on request.
A full breakfast (included in room rates) is served on elegant china in the dining room or
on the wrap around porch, along with linen napkins, soft music, candlelight and sparkling
crystal. Guests not only choose their breakfast but also the time they would like to eat, anywhere from 8AM to

Because we only have one cook and we want our meals to be served hot and fresh, we are not able to prepare breakfast cooked to order for groups larger than 4. Groups will be served no more than 6 items which will be planned with our guest input. (Example: Egg & Cheese Strata, Hash Browns, Sausage Patties, Cinnamon Rolls, Coffee, Seasonal Fresh Fruit Bowl.) Couples and singles are also limited to 6 items; however, these can be made to order. (Example: Oatmeal Flaxseed Pancakes, Bacon, Coffee, De-Caf Coffee, Juice, Scrambled Eggs)
PANCAKES & WAFFLES (Very generous servings - only eggs and/or meat should be ordered with these - no other breads or muffins)
- Pancakes - Choice of: Buttermilk, Blueberry, Buckwheat, Oatmeal, Banana, Orange, Cinnamon Roll or Apple - all pancakes can be made gluten free and Vegan as well.
- French Toast
- Belgian Waffle (These are the size of your plate!)
- Our Own Flaxseed Oatmeal Pancakes (featured in "Taste of Home Cooking for Two" Fall 2008 issue)
TOPPINGS (One fruit choice per person or couple)- Fresh whenever possible (IF IN SEASON)
- Strawberries, Apples, Blueberries, Peaches (this counts as a fruit choice)
- Whipped Cream
- Homemade Flavored Syrup or Pure Maple Sirup (We are proud to offer our guests Funks Grove Pure Maple Sirup on their pancakes or French Toast - Click on the link to read more about it.)
- Cream Cheese
- Jam or Jelly
- Honey
POTATOES, ETC. (limit one choice per person)
We've been told that our hash browns don't need ketchup! Always crisp!
- Spanish Hash Browns (with onion and green pepper)
- Hash Browns
- Grits - You tell us how you like yours!
- Hash Browns to Order: We'll put anything you want in them! Mushrooms
and cheese come to mind!
- Skillet Breakfast - Hearty Helping of our famous hash browns, topped
with one, two or three "Sharon's Eggs", crumbled bacon OR ham and cheddar
cheese OR sausage gravy.
EGGS
- Sharon's Eggs (Sunny side up, steamed with soft, medium or hard center � no crispy stuff (If you like the crispy stuff, let Sharon know - that can be arranged.)

- Eggs Benedict (This is a meat, bread and egg choice. Do not order additional meat, eggs, pancakes, waffles or bread if ordering Eggs Benedict. Fruit and/or hash browns go nicely with Eggs Benedict and are acceptable additions)

Ham & Cheese Omelet, Denver Omelet (Omelets served with cheddar cheese)(Omelets count as a meat and egg choice)
- Alissa's Vegetarian Omelet (with tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, cheddar jack cheese and artichokes)Individual omelets cannot be prepared for more than two persons. Instead, we will serve an egg casserole.
MEATS - Limit one choice per person, couple or group.

MUFFINS & BREADS - All homemade from scratch - really! (Because these are all homemade from scratch � only one choice per person or couple please-sometimes we can make exceptions - just ask)
- Muffins: Orange, Bran, Blueberry, Banana, Cranberry and Poppy Seed Muffins - muffins can all be made gluten free and are delicious!
- Cinnamon Roll or Pecan Roll
- Wheat Toast, White Toast, Rye Toast
- Flax Seed, Sunflower Seed & Poppy Seed Wheat Toast (People go nuts over this and it's healthy!)
- Buttermilk Biscuit
- Bagel
- English Muffin
- Scones- tell us what kind you like
CEREALS
- Cream of Wheat
- Oatmeal (regular or gluten free)

- Homemade Granola (gluten free)
CHOICE OF FRESH FRUIT OR FRUIT JUICE BELOW - Limit one fruit choice per person (AVAILABLE WHEN IN SEASON)
- Pink grapefruit, Banana, Apple, Orange, Strawberries, Peach,
Cherries, Grapes (green,red, & sometimes black), Blueberries, Mango, Seasonal Mixed Fruit Bowl (Sharon's favorite is mango, blueberries, strawberries, and kiwi as seen in photo slide show on this page). Please let Sharon know if there is a fruit you don't eat so we don't serve it to you)
JUICES - limit one juice choice per person please
- Orange and pink grapefruit are fresh juiced.
- Apple, Orange, Tomato, V-8, Pink Grapefruit, Pineapple,
Prune and Cranberry
BEVERAGES
- Coffee , De-caf, (both from fresh ground beans)
- Assorted Teas

SMOOTHIES - takes the place of fruit & milk choices

Sharon's favorite is Soy Milk, Banana, & Strawberries, but we will make
whatever you like best! This is a meal in itself! Just let us know what
you want in it. These are huge! Don't order a heavy breakfast with this or you should share it!
PLEASE NOTE:
- Please be aware that we will prepare your food to your personal
preference, however, we are not responsible should you become
ill from eating undercooked food.
- Seasonal Favorites: In the mid spring to early summer, we have fresh rhubarb coffee cake.
This is the coffee cake that turned Sharon from a rhubarb hater into a
rhubarb lover! Mid to late July, we have hand picked fresh blueberries
that are out of this world!
- We feel our breakfast menu is extremely generous; however guests who order food exceeding the guidelines on our menu will be charged a surchage in an amount consistent with the excessive expense and time involved.
