Illinois Route 66 Red Carpet Corridor
Looking for a mid-week or week-end getaway where you don't have
too drive far? How about the Illinois Route 66 Red Carpet Corridor? Pontiac is centrally located along the Illinois Route 66 Red Carpet Corridor. We are right
off interstate 55 near Old Route 66 (less than one mile away) and on Route 116. Be enchanted by Pontiac's warm hospitality at the Route 66 Hall of Fame and Museum, the Livingston County War Museum and Dal Estes Education Center, The Yost House Museum, The Jones House, The International Walldog Museum, and coming this summer, The Pontiac-Oakland Automobile Museum
and Resource Center. The items to be displayed at the museum
will include antique and classic Pontiac and Oakland vehicles, thousands of printed materials related to the design and promotion of the now
defunct General Motors’ line, and a vast array of other car-related items from the personal collection of Tim & Penny Dye.
If arriving by Amtrak, we will pick you up at the Depot and drive you to Three Roses. Trains
from the north arrive in Pontiac at: 11:06am, 3:42pm, 6:56pm and 8:41pm. Trains from
the south arrive at 7:59am, 10:09am, 12:14pm, 6:23pm and 8:34pm. Ask about our
Special Mid-week Getaway just for Amtrak riders!

Many people have told Sharon that her cake is the best they've ever tasted. Sharon says the secret is in the frosting. All frostings are home made
fresh and no ingredients you can't pronounce. Sharon says she can't guarantee that her cake will be the prettiest, but she can guarantee that it will taste the best!
